thatcher still bleeding us

Recommended Posts

coal mines were shut because there were better safer and more profitable ways to extract coal, you that moan about them closing then you moan how unsafe they were, even in this time there are men losing their lives and the amount of men that have health problems because they worked down them so although men lost jobs a lot retrained or got work elsewhere where at least they were safe and healthy, i'm not patting thatcher on the back for doing it as i believe it would have been done eventually by whoever was in power.

Bull shit. The mines were closed because it was cheaper to import coal from from abroad mined in exactly the same way without the required investment by the government....

I did not here anyone complaining at the large payouts and the subsequent "vibration white finger " claims ?

yes coal was imported because it was cheaper but the open cast sites were the way forward, they left a scar but they produced much more coal quicker and safer so it was just a matter of time till mining was not cost effective and good riddence to it as the conditions that men had to endure while risking their health and their lifes is best consigned to the past or maybe you think a bunch of old lads sitting in the club coughing their guts up while they talk about the good old days is worth it.

Every single one of them is exactly the same to be honest, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, not one of them would know what its like to grow up on a sink-estate,live hand to mouth, worry about bills and mortgage payments,we think we are free?We are like f*cking hamsters on a wheel running...running...running for the rewards,we work 9-5 to be able to afford to buy a box which we are taxed on,we die and get another box and once again tax,we make paltry sums of cash and think we are living the life because we can afford a couple of pairs of Hugo Boss a month,a meal down the indian or chinese restaurant once a week and a fortnight in the sun every year,we think thats being free?F*ck them all,as Max says,we are waking up but we really are a nation of whimps nowadays, why do you think there was fast-track knee-jerking sentences for the rioters, whenever theres social uprising of any form in this country the powers that be come down hard, one day....

The heroin epidemic that hit this country in the 80s was a direct result of the ...law abiding...asian community and thier brethren in Pakistan flooding the streets with smack , which was eagerly snapped up by a white working class generation that had been robbed of any hope , dreams or aspirations by that evil heartless witch that your so fond of.
