thatcher still bleeding us

Recommended Posts

At least she had a set of bollocks and stood up for the country we live in...unlike the labour tossers who have destroyed it

If you like women with balls move to Thailand. Thatcher butchered communities and a lot of people got rich on the back of the the poor c**ts who went on strike for a better living

Aye many of them where the union leaders who took all the lads into an illegal strike meaning they didn't get strike payments and couldnt get the social but they did alright just where did all the money from the NUM go?

Wat a load of rubbish did you work down the pit at the time ? well i did and well be for the strike we had a vote in favour of strike action if proper procedures were not taken on consultation on pits closeing after that vote thatcher made sure all the power stations were over stocked with coal then gave lads at a yorkshire pit [cortonwood] two weeks notice of termination of their employment knowing full well it would cause the reaction she wanted as she had been prepairing for the day years before.

two miners from Manton colliery who protested that the strike was not "official" without a ballot took the NUM to court. In September the High Court ruled that the NUM had breached its own constitution by calling a strike without first holding a ballot. Scargill was fined £1,000 (which was paid for him by an anonymous donor) and the NUM was fined £200,000. When the union refused to pay its fine, an order was made to sequestrate the union's assets but it was found that they had been transferred abroad.[18] By the end of January 1985 around £5 million of NUM assets had been recovered.[19]

my understanding is that would be the trade union and labour relations act of 1974 as brought in by a labour government

End of the day she started the fekin strike and unlike the working man of today we stood and fought to protect jobs and communitys some thing i will be proud of till my dieing day.

I am sorry but I don't share your feelings on who or why the strike happened and will always believe the unions did not have the lads interests at heart so we best agree to differ that said I agree entirely with the rest of your above statement and I would have been proud to have stood shoulder to shoulder with lads as fought so hard for their jobs.

Wrong trade union act 1984 she got that in just in time eh ,the coal board told the unions the procedure in place from 1974 was obsolete.Funny the things you can find on the net, like the government run media of 84 slagging the NUM for its links with libya, while buying oil from the same country to keep the fires burning.

Thatcher was evil pure and simple, money and power are all that matters to people like these human life and suffering dont count for much with evil b*****ds like her.

She signed a deal not long after coming out of office[i think Dennis was in on it somewhere as well] to promote cigarette smoking in third world countries, with the educated westerners giving up in drves the tobacco companies need a new market, who the f**k would deliberatly promote smoking for money and not feel guilty? An evil b*****d thats who.

Thatcher caused the strike because she needed to break the unions to attract American and Japanese investment, she undoutably enjoyed breaking the communities that f****d Ted Heaths tory government up.

Anybody know what the Faulklands was really about? its blatently obviouse some thick c**ts on here dont know their arse from their elbow, they probably in WOMD, that the recent wars are to stop islamic terrorism, fairies and father xmas,no wonder this coutries f****d.

No doubt our "skint" government will find the money to give her a lavish state funeral and rub it in the face of ordineary people one last time in her name.

"Thatcher made us proud"

The falklands was another ploy by her aswell.she was getting a no confidence vote from her party, the people were sick of her,and wanted change.on the other side of the world Galterri was in the same position.both had f**k all to lose and everything to gain.all or nothing!so our soldiers did us proud yet again, and thatcher rode back into another term on the back of 255 dead british soldiers and a nation buzzing with patriotisim.

Forget Thatcher as a person for a minute then and someone tell me why in thirteen years of government the labour party did not reopen pits and invest heavily in the steel industry. The money Blair and his cronies squandered on benefits disability and the like and catering for every feckin waif and stray from all over the globe would have financed every pit (and therefor communities) the length and breadth of the country. A lot of people here seem to have short and selective memories.

Im not bigin labour up here as i dispise the kunts with a passion but you cannae just open a pit back up after youve shut it down like other heavy industries,a working pit is always working to keep water from flooding it and stoping the build up of deadly gasses both toxic and highly flammable/explosive....all the deep mining pits that the auld craw shut are now rudundant for ever.

I too like someone else has already said was reared in a small mining village borne out mining stock where men stood shoulder to shoulder and had each others backs, where folk looked out for each other, where there was a strong community and everybody was in work, where the youth were taught right and wrong and the meaning of the word respect which i will hold dear to me to the grave...tell me where in this green and pleasant land from John O Groats to Lands End will you find this now! ??.

No,i for one will make no apologies that i will gleefully raise a toast with many others when the evil cow finally checks out to hopefully burn in hells fire for enternity.
