BUT no one has ever showed the pure , cold hearted lack of compassion that she did . She DELIBERATLY SET OUT TO DESTROY lives and whole communities , all in the pursuit of money .Tne poor , the vunerable , the ill were thrown to the wolves to balance the books . Wat a load of rubbish did you work down the pit at the time ? well i did and well be for the strike we had a vote in favour of strike action if proper procedures were not taken on consultation on pits closeing after that vote thatcher made sure all the power stations were over stocked with coal then gave lads at a yorkshire pit [cortonwood] two weeks notice of termination of their employment knowing full well it would cause the reaction she wanted as she had been prepairing for the day years before.
