oscarsdad 4
I use mine for hunting. Great little lightweight rifle and deadly accurate. People winge about shot count but it is perfect for hunting at 30 shots - unlikely you will need more than that. Don't forget to budget for a pump or bottle as well though. Anthony Quote Link to post
ants1992 0
thanks mate i no i need a pump ot bottle shud i get it regulated Quote Link to post
oscarsdad 4
Mine is not regulated-I would give it a go and see what you think of the standard rifle. Reg will give you a higher shot count if you decide you need it. Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Welcome to the forum The Ultra is a very fine rifle, exceptional accuracy for such a small rifle. It is more than suitable for hunting in the UK Anything on the GL's will fall to it if you do your part Tony Quote Link to post
ants1992 0
what gl's iv got about 300 Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
GL's are General License's The GL's are what gives us permission to shoot our quarry. Heres a link to this years GL's http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/153030-general-licences/ Tony Quote Link to post
ants1992 0
do not no u need a general license for a air gun Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
The General Licence are more a set of rules/guidelines, not a physical license on paper and they cost nothing Have a read through them, because you need a reason to shoot any living animal because they are actually protected by law (wildlife and countryside act), so you need a reason, for example rabbits! They destroy lawns, crops, dig holes where cattle may fall and break their legs. Wood pigeon, eat crops, seeds and cause damage. Ferral pigeon are usually found inside buildings barns etc, they are a health risk. Do you have some land to shoot over? Tony Quote Link to post
