Nice one max, 8 is a good little bag. I like working those little bank warrens similar to those in your photos, they always seem quite productive. It's a shame about the dreaded myxy, but at least you found some that were clean from it. Nice to see a jack as well, there plenty about, but they don't appear in too many pictures on this site.

I was out today got four all clean no sign of mxyi, young kits are both working fine for learners, but could do for them to stay with non bolters for longer, so I can get a good mark, thats 12 Ive had with them, and no sign of blood on their chops so they are not killing yet, but it will come, after being away from the ferreting for so long, three is a nice number for me, today I walked a mile and half, no road with two ferts in a box, my game bag with nets plus four rabbits, and my spade, I was knackered, this is when you find out your not as fit as you used to be, don't think I could have carried eight. by the way, looks like you had a good day Max.

Nice one Max, how olds the Russell? My old russell is getting slow now, think i'm going to have to get him out this Sunday, miss working him on the slopes!

He was 2yrs old on the 19th of oct he marks the burys now quite well and is a fantastic little dog always full of it and always wanting to play tug or war with anything he can grab hold of but he doesn't bite the rabbits in the nets he tends to hold them with his front feet and then licks there eyes and sniffs there ar*es that suits me because at least i can sell them to my butcher unlike when my old russell george used to got hold of them he was a different kettle of fish the rabbit was mullered

THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLYS GENTS happy hunting
