mudd dog 128
hope they come out lol Thanks for the pics mate. Much appreciated. So you reckon if the threads are too big after digging I might not get them off again ?? I'd say I'll be using 1"1/4 bar so whatever thread will fit in that would it be ok ??? I'll have a go at it and show you the results, fingers crossed eh. Lol cheers MUDD Quote Link to post
nakednutt 58
i wouldnt bother with screw together ones. after time the threads will stretch and the handle will be misaligned, Quote Link to post

stormrider8 59
Iv been messing around this morning and made one, no welding at all. I bought a spade for 17 quid and some nuts and bolts for 3 quid a piece of iron tubing for £7. Its a meter long so you could if you wanted you could make 3 out of it. Sure if you shopped about you could get it all a bit cheaper. They never had the round mouth one with the tread plates but iv ordered one and will do the same with that. Quote Link to post

mudd dog 128
another Looks a good job there, nice work. I think I'd rather have the welded version myself though. I think it would be far more Robust and would suit the digging I do beter..atb Quote Link to post
