OHIO STEVE 11 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Share Posted October 28, 2011 may be bollocks ( as you guys say lol) but i have been told that a stub tail ( NOT a bobbed tail like a mt cur sometimes has) but an actual stumpy little nub is a form of spina bifida in dogs.. It is genetic and the same type of thing that causes cleft palates. I had a litter once with a stub tailed pup AND a cleft palate pup. Quote Link to post
