Have to agree with you millet, i think that the eagle gets the hold and wraps them up, before being finished off by other means.

Ive seen a harris hawk grab a terrier just behind the eye and jaw and the back end and belive me the terrier didnt move an inch, so i can only imagine that this is what they must do,

 

but like to be proven wrong
