At my mums this weekend and looking through old pics came upon this beut.

The little girl holding the pram is my mum, the women to the right of her is my grandma and my great grand father is the big guy striding across the pic.The pub belonged to my great grand father at the time

once had a beagle/ russel. cracking finding staying dog. head like a lion, nose like a tennis ball very rare he ever bolted charlie. always got em backed up double quick time. ahh great times with a good old dog, anyone else tried this cross?

I wonder if them lads had as much trouble keeping up with the huntsman as us.......they make em fit up there pal

You would be surprised mate, them boots are the best thing for climbing fells in, i,ve worn a few pair of them out. You cant get the same quality ones that you used to though.I remember walking into an outdoor shop up in ullswater one day, me and the wife had just been up to the copper mines, and i was wearing a pair.The guy in the shop heard the clomping, and took one look at them..." best pair o boots in this shop, sir" he said, and he was selling allsorts of walking boots.
