tote 856
With the wind blowing a hooley it was time to dust the cobwebs off the long net, it's been a while since it was out. My son Dylan and I took it up the school playing fields this afternoon and stretched it out making sure everything was in good order, which it was. We set off at 9pm and by 9.30 the net was set, we only had 100 yards which I knew was leaving us well short but thought it would be worthwhile non the less and with this being Dylan's first time out with the webs it would be an experience for him. I left Dylan at the net after telling him what was required and set off up the side of the field then made my way back to the net. On my arrival at the net I could see Dylan was busy trying to extract a rabbit from the web. I asked how many we had and he replied "quite a few", after having a count up we had 9 rabbits in the bag. The nets were lifted, rabbits cleaned out and we were back home for 10.30pm, so not a bad tally for an hour and a half. Quote Link to post

Well done. Aye just the one drop mate, to be honest we were well short of netting, could've done with another 100 yards. Hopefully I'll have another 100 yarder on the poles and in the basket by the end of the week. Quote Link to post
