Don't have that problem Gary with My Falcon Menace as it's a First focal plane, so whatever mag 4x or 14x POI is the same   :tongue2::thumbs:

I'm guessing a bit here as I've never tried to set up a scope cam and I have only a small amount of experience with PCPs but the little bit I have and also from reading about folks dealings with them on here, any change of balance on a gun can affect POI, as well as the scope's set up.

The only pre charge I've owned was an AA410c ( lovely rifle  ) and when I binned the AA mod in favour of an HW one, the POI was out by a couple of inchs at my 25 yard zero range

They may not recoil much, but just like a springer, the gun does move before the pellet's left the pointy end. Bloody airguns!!

I'm glad you've got it sorted, Gary. Best of luck in the future :victory:

POI can be a strange thing can't it?

I know when I used to have a Hawke scope I'd set it at a zero range of 25 yards on x6 mag. Whenever I'd change the magnification to x3 or x9 the zero would shift. I've found this can happen with some of the budget scopes but it hasn't happened with my MTC Viper. Occassionally it can be the parallax needs adjusting but sometimes its best to set the magnification and leave it be ;) I bet its even more difficult with a scope cam too!

Hi, glad you have found the problem out. I would personally avoid the Hawke rubbish like the plague. I have simmons on all my rifles and i have had no trouble at all with them. To the best of my knowledge the 3-9WA Simmons Pro-hunter on the Falcon has never lost its aim in 11 years, so i think thats about as good as it gets. But then again, i can't remember the last time i adjusted the zoom, i use 4 power for everything. No point in having a nice gun and putting some chinese/tiawanese made cheap crap like Hawke on it IMO....
