greens are just part of a dogs natural diet. i.e grass, leaves, and all kinds of vegitation found in the stomach and intestines of animals they would kill in the wild. maybe the feed they are on is lacking in the type of vitimans they would get from a completely natural diet, just something to look at if they are always at it. i feed green tripe as part of my dogs diet which should give them what they need in that department but they will still eat grass the odd time. dont think there is anything toxic in doc leaves in particular. wouldnt hurt to google it tho. hope this helps in some way

Like Brenner said, most dogs eat greens at some time, and docks are fine, I used to eat them when i was in the uk, boiled first but not poisonus

be carefull antsa if your ever eating dock leaves in ireland. you might get more then you bargained for if jimmys shop has been hunting the same field

yeh im guilty of been a dock leaf bandit meself jimmy. ive often gone out to the fields with a sock on both feet and come home with only one, then i have to blame me missus on loosin them in the wash when she asks me why i have a load odd socks in the drawer. ive even tried andrex puppy soft when im in the field. i ended up fallin out with me mate after that tho. he said he was never bringin his young dog andrex out with me again

in fairness to me mate though, i think i soured his young terrier .. apparently the dog runs and hides now every time he sees a hole with a bit of crap out side it
