I hear wat your saying pal but its just not in me to kill something then leave it dumped in field never have never will, if your guna jst dump it dont run it

Thats not the point i was getting at. Anybody willing to through them in the ditch at the end of the night should empty there kennels and do the world a favour. Cant believe i'm reading such replies o

not everyone that leaves the catch in the feild wants to . but this goverment and its laws has made it so some people have no choice . example you have been running dogs all your life and they are a w

if you dont like hares for eating get a dog like mine. you could course em every week and still not catch yer dinner  good topic this. shows there two types of hunter one that has a little respect for the quarry and one that hasnt. :bye:

So you don't dig foxes then? No different to running a hare with a dog. Whet gets me on this topic is all the negative stuff is coming from people who don't keep running dogs and don't know much about it. The 2 dead hares that the guy found could have been shot anyway for all we know. I think too many people on here are living in the past as Jibber points out you cannot do what we did 20 years ago. As for respect this respect for quarry most dog men do that's why most pack in late feb early March and leave them to breed. It does show theres 2 type of hunters ones that hunt and others that just talk about it.

Pretty much agree with you there, but among the ones who actually do hunt, regardless of their quarry and methods, there always has been, and always will be two types - hunters and killers.

Good advice that......Kill it quick before it f***ing bites you! :shok:

Joking aside though, thankfully It's not anywhere near as bad around my way as it was when I started out. I used to lamp on a spot which was high up and had a view for miles, and most nights it was like something out of star wars, all the light sabres flashing around! That was back in the days when you had to make your own lamp, and they weren't that bright, so I hate to think what it'd be like with todays zillion candlepower lamps.

I like the way people are saying i chuck them in the hedge so i dont get caught but they are blatantly saying they are coursing hares illegally on an open forum, some real clever heroes on here. A good hunter will respect the quarry and take it home. If you are going to leave what you have caught atleast to hide it well its no good leaving it for somone else to find its only drawing unwanted attention to yourself and the area you are hunting.

Listening to some of the comments off some clowns on this topic, what do they do when they cant get out on a weekend hunting? Do they go to the town, get a belly full of beer, find some poor innocent fuker, knock the fek out of him for no reason, then dump him in the nearest alley? Have a kebab on the way home..................... good night had by all :drinks::boxing::snack:

You forgot to add after the kebab they get home and spowt shite on this forum about how awesome there dogs are. It seems that working dogs are being used as status symbols with people just trying to get a name for themselves its sad really.

There is some land not far from were I live owned by national trust, about 30 acers, I some times run the dog there on the way out to strech him out before going for a nights lamping. This land holds a few bunnies and a couple hares, there is a shortage of hares were I live so I dont bother them because it nice to see them about.Last night on the way home we stoped by a layby to gut our night catch, have a smoke and chat before I droping my mate off, while I was guting my mate was lamping over a gate farting around, he noticed two dead hares dumped in the hedge the other side of the gate, this realy pissed me off, what a waste and like I say there are not that many around here anyway.

I have no problem finding people who are glad of a rabbit or two, so why kill just for the sake!

fuking maddness whats the point probably leverets as well c**ts
