Mooch. 177
Once again, a light hearted thread with it's tongue firmly in it's cheek has turned xenophobic and bitchy. Shame.

nastybilly 55
As said, they've given us many great things... but the people themselves ? That's a different story, most English I've come across can only be described as c**ts. I think I speak for most Englishmen here when I eruditely and eloquently say, i wonder how these English 'c*nts' view you? Similarly, I would guess. How would you describe someone who is speaking english to his compatriots until you enter the room, and then switches to their own tongue to alienate/talk about you? Ignorant t*sser springs to mind. Or someone who constantly bad mouths the nation they've moved to and the inhabitants? Total t*sser who frankly should go back to their own wonderful bloody country, full of their own wonderful bloody countrymen! Why do the nations in the UK constantly have such hatred of the english? Truth is, a massive inferiority complex. The English don't tend to have this huge self-esteem issue, hence it is usually the other nations that start any bitching session against the English. That feels better - spleen vented! I for one do actually love my country, and yes, it does piss me off when people of other nationalities seem to be constantly looking for an excuse to have a go. As it happens, I love Wales too, as I have family ties there and have always held an affection for Scotland too. But a tosser is a tosser and that is how I view folk who have it in for my country, wherever they are from. why dont you learn the lingo you lazy englishman you..lol then you'll know what there saying about you thats the trouble with you all your so uneducated ..lmao
ginga john 268
Civilisation was forced upon upon many nations of the world by the English, we started with the Scots and the Welsh, we had a little go at the Irish Then the rest of the "Empire", but time moves on Most of the former dominions have stayed in close touch via the commonwealth (the clues in the name) The fastest growing economy in the world (averaged over the last twenty years) is India, that uses infrastructure that was installed in the times of the Raj The country moves more people and goods by rail than any other on the planet and they use trains and tracks built by the British Scotland would be in complete state of disaster if it wasn't for the money from Westminster Wales again has massive subsidies so they can pretend that they have a micro economy that balances The truth is that without the engine room that is England the rest of the home nations would starve In answer to the Irish lads comments I would ask you this; When (if you ever have) you drive from the Eire to the North what are the two things that strike you, for me it was the start of a road system that is actually a road and not a pot holed dirt track with the odd patch of tarmac and that has road signs that are both readable and point in the right direction and secondly the price of fuel and food which is why so many from the south go north to shop so if the English are so bad stay south and pay for you opinions Scotland has two sources of real Income, tourism and north sea gas / oil ( the oil is on its last legs) so independence will be a great move NOT The welsh are great nation of farmers (cue the sheep jokes) a little tourism, due to the prince of wales and the castles etc The sheep and meat are all exported through English ports, mostly to the EU, but with the balance of payments being in a permanent deficit So once again without English money its back to eating seaweed And without the welsh and the Irish I as an English man would have no ancestors for a start, a few less good men to call mates, would have to eat NZ lamb etc Its a union for a reason Edited October 26, 2011 by ginga john
