farrierman 2
Took out young Beddie x Greyhound out last night with my mates steady saluki and OMG what a pair. The rabbits proved to be very nervous and some as soon as the light hit them they were gone but managed to get 4 runs and 2 kills, and the pup assisted on the last one and she didnt even fear back off or even question what was expected of her. I am so so so pleased as we are new to this and I have done everything I can to bring her up right and keep her in top condition and proved everything she needs. My mate was amazed at her as we both had slight fears as you never do know do you. Saluki a lot quicker on straight but beddie certainly can turn so hopefuly we got a good pairing now. Anyone else got a Beddie cross that has turned out right??? Quote Link to post

Crusty12 4
she is just over two, she was only used as a rabbit dog by the previous owner but i have no doubt that she would do bigger quarry. i had all the intentions on putting her on one last night but me being a d**k forgot to take extra bulbs with me for the lamp a the bulb went after three fields. shes excellent out working her with ferrets to and she will use her nose to put rabbits out for the whippet Quote Link to post
