I live in the wilds of sunny Gwent and keep two whippet lurchers which I use for mooching rabbits around the valleys where I live. If i'm truthful i'm probably as much of a countryman as a hunter and get a big kick out of watching my dogs pick up a scent, work it through cover and hopefully have a good chase as much as the actual kill itself...although I am partial to a bit of rabbit stew.....lol. The breeding of my dogs can be traced back 30 odd years and although definately not world beaters they are honest workers who love to do what they were bred for. I also enjoy the shows during the summer and am reasonably succesful with the one dog. Thanks for letting me in and look forward to spending some time on the site.
