J Darcy 5,871
For once everything fell into place. The woods were still a bit windy but the sunshine had brought every squirrel and his dad out for a rummage through the woodland leaf litter. We saw plenty and i managed 8 in and hour, some of them quite young squirrels, so maybe they're breeding late this year due to the Indian summer we have been enjoying. Again, FN 12 hawk and some Bisley LRG and, of course, a whole dollop of luck. By the way, the gun is a .177 for those that say such a calibre isn't much use on such quarry......the photo does not show the full bag, just five....happy hunting...JD Quote Link to post

J Darcy 5,871
I don't hate them, they're just doing what they were put on this earth to do. But, i don't like the way they are killing my treecreepers, so i'm just repaying the compliment...from one predator to another, so to speak. Quote Link to post
