omegathelast 160
I am sorry. I just dont get this. Yes it sounds like a good night but GET SOME PERMISSION! Firstly I would be well pissed off if someone had poached my land and perhaps worse this irresponsible approach is what has killed the sport - there is another post on here about a lad getting his gear comfiscated by the police, how can we credibly argue against this attitude when people are just wandering anywhere. Its two offences 1. poaching & 2. contravenes the hunting Act; no permission = illegal hunting with dogs, simples! It is so much more enjoyable when you have permission. Where we used to lamp (and will be again soon) the police knew us and I would ring through and tell them where we would be, it was brilliant. No hassle and mutual respect. ftm 3,357
its all very well slagging lads off cos there poaching just cos you got permission.you just stick to your safety zone and leave the real work to the ordinary folk who HAVE to poach to work their dogs.any way i found it more exciting if i was on forbidden land. by the way i did have permission all over the knot but i would always stray [some say it was in my nature lol] 1 Quote Link to post
