wirral countryman 2,110
Seen my mates 3/4grey,1/8beardie,1/8 border kill some good well run hares aged 11yrs,took them over 3 fields, that dog was bought off hancocks older stuff,it was kept as a pet for the first 8 yrs of its life never seeing anything till his uncle died and was looking for a good home,he took it on and the dog was a good allrounder, stood 26"TTS with a broken coat,an old boy told me 30 odd years ago that " what you don't get at the beginning you get back on the other end of its life " it seemed so in this case, maybe something for the young lads to think about running their dogs at 6 months, interesting thread,WM Quote Link to post
