baldockbanks courser 598
as an all rounder I hope a .. sennsible sized deerhound x greyhound. ( cause Im running 1 on myself! ) I dont think any other first cross would have as good a chance as taking the odd day time Hare, fox and deer. there are very few other first crosses with the speed and stamina for hare apart from the saluki 1st x and having had them for years id say finding a fox stoper is not very likely. 1 Quote Link to post

123456 146
If you were not a specialised hunter after one particular quarry then I would say a colliex is the best first cross but if you were after something in particular then you would get the dog that suits Quote Link to post
whin 463
onmly two dogs ive had first crosses who killed everything a first cross collie and asaluki deerhound out of tor of dartmoor back to greyhound , the colie type had wastage tho only the bigger dogs in litt done all but the saluk crooss dogs did do all bitchers were no slouch to ,the beddies ive saw there were a few good ones but not good on the daylite ,as much ,bull cross some ives a were to heavy ,deerhound crosses well they should be good but getting the [bANNED TEXT] breeding ones that can do the nessasary hard to find Quote Link to post
