RUN AWAY

I got a phone call from a neigbour this afternoon telling me that they have one of my ferrets??????

i couldnt work it out charlie was locked up in the shed and the girls were locked up and the cage was padlocked so i didnt make sense..... was it mine or a stray

so when i got home i popped over there house and saw that it was one of my pregnant girls so i thanked them and went home checked the cage all over no holes the mesh was all still perfect i couldnt work it out????

 

So i left her for a while to play with my daughter and then i noticed a ferret running past the patio window so i jumped up went outside to pick her up and puther back and watched her for a bit ....

then i saw it the little cow crawled out of her food tub and down the mesh ....

 

The food tub was one of those ones that the hopper is on the outside and feeding tray is inside the cage.

so ive spent the rest of the afternoon rewireing the hole back up..

its funnie the other one didnt even try to escape .

 

Looks like ive got a houdini

If ever i have had one get out of its cage i have put it straight back & wait a few seconds and you soon find out where they are escaping from

 

I once had a jill escape from a carrier at the vets ,

the madam was racing round the place surgery back room untill someone picked her up & put her in a carrier of theres at the vets

we had one escape a while back, some how managed 2 climb over a wall lucky we went looking for it, heard a russling noise and thee he was padlocks are now fitted to the cages :thumbs-up:
