26 terriers stolen in Cork City in 6 days. Several black terriers stolen in Tipp 2 nights ago.

The Riverstown foot beagles had 10 hounds stolen 2 nights ago.

And no-one knows where they're going ??????

there aught to be some kind of police or even media type investigation in to this,,,, it wouldnt be hard to set up some kind of sting,,

 

set a house up with kennels and dogs somthing in the country sde but easily seen from a road for the perfect bait ,, video camers evrywhere,, dogs not only chipped, but trackers on them and have survaliance vans following the thievs.

 

surly with all these thefts the police have to get involved,, or like i say , reporters like panarama, world in action,,cook report,,, macintire,, that kind of thing.

its disgraceful,i think with all the recent dog thefts going on over there dog owners are taking all possible precautions to secure there animals regardless of cost,and surely there must be someone out there thats knows something even if its a tiny piece of info pass it on and lets put a stop to it

I was thinking that aswell, wouldn't surprise me at all if it was antis....if they're going to break into mink farms and let them all out it wouldn't be a big deal to break into kennels and take all the dogs would it.

Tomo , those type of programmes would swing it right back at the hunting lads , and make out they are being stolen for illegal stuff , baiting etc . The working dog world is a small world , if people stopped turning a blind eye to where thier dogs were coming from , it would stop almost overnight .

With all these dogs being stolen over here is making me think twice of eating from the chinese any more because they just seem to be dissapearing and no sign of them anywhere ,the working dog scene is small enough over here for someone to know something

They don't seem be hitting lads with only a couple of dogs they seem to be hitting large kennels mainly, so it must be something that is well organised either for profit or as it's been said some anti group doing it,we need to come up with something to compat this maybe some sort of private investigation that we can all sort out between us because it effects us all and the old bill will not give a fcuk about it
