FOXHUNTER 5,021 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Share Posted March 25, 2007 Went out last night with the lamp to the Scottish Borders even though the weather was a bit misty , just went for a wander really. Stood by the edge of a strip wood and started calling, after a few minutes a fox appeared in the next field , I then changed the call to a mouse squeak and pulled the fox in to about 100 yards ....................... He was an old dog fox with a lot of teeth missing ..................... Quote Link to post

rifleshooter 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Report Share Posted March 26, 2007 Nice going FOXHUNTER good size fox and in good nick as well ,the oldest looking fox we shot was in the Dalbeatie area it had almost no teeth at all and what was left were knackerd ,this was the first time on this ground we shot another couple that night ,looked excelent ground , a couple of week later we phoned to go back , but sods law the farm had been sold to the owners son and he was right into shooting ,so lost a good area ,fortunately we have a farm about half a mile away and have had plenty foxs of it ,one of the best areas we have in scotland Quote Link to post
