earthdog dai 75
depends on the size of the chickens mate, if you are feeding small carcus's it will be ok to feed 1 a nite. if you are feeding wings or legs then maybe you could feed 2 or 3. it all depends on the size of portion of meat Quote Link to post

Guest WILF
If we are talking about a terrier here, I would say 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound a day would keep it in shape, larger lurcher type.....well mine are about 50 something lb and I give them 1.5 lb of raw a day with a little bumper feed about every 10 days.......1 day of fasting a week. No need to do anything with the chicken, just sling it in raw, but it MUST be raw, never feed cooked chicken on the bone. Quote Link to post

bill88 6
bill88 wats the needle bone? If you look at a raw chicken leg from the top,you will see the main thick bone and just behind a very thin flexible bone. When my old man fed the dog's chicken leg's he alway's pulled this bone out with some pliers.I'm sure most people don't bother but my old man was a stickler for this,so ive alway's done the same.
