budgie123 163 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Share Posted October 22, 2011 Yes it is ok to move them. there is a club who do it every year. they are moved from an area where numbers are reduced every year by hare shoots. you need a long net which is made for netting hares they will bust through rabbit nets and i have seen this happen the club has specially made boxes the hares have to be literally forced into them they are so tight. we were told they need to be in such tight boxes to prevent them becoming stressed and die. original box was borrowed from a greyhound coursing club who used to move hares every year.
