sorel-2007 0
Hi all, I've just got my first dog, well few months ago. So I'm about as green as they come. He's six months next week, 3/4 grey and the rest made up of deerhound, collie, whippet. Standing 25 at the shoulder now. I bet I learn more than him over the next two years. Always looking for advice so I'll probably be asking for all sorts of advice over the next year or so. I've been told not to run him until he's 18mths so it will give me time to get as much advice as I can. Now there's honesty for you. Quote Link to post
jakie russell 0
got my first dog at 8 a jrt called tiny black and tan and would fight with his toe nails ,never left me side day or night untill the 5.15 dublin to cork train made shit of him got another jrt not the same got the shot gun at 16 and a brand new top of the rang english pointer (usless) well to be fair he never got a chance m not the best man with a dog and the father had gave it all up cause eh the bad back, anyway had afew more pointers up untill last year a young lurcher strayed into a neighbors an lived in der shed for a month one day while chatting he asked me if i knew anyone to take him they couldnt find his owners or look after him ,so i took him on not having a clue apart fron reading a few books a listening to a old uncle of mine who had lurchers 50 year ago. so started bring him out and havent stopped love it the gun hasnt seen day light since and not likely to either headin out tonight with a mate later and cant wait, anyone reading this who is toying with the idea of getting a lurcher do it, its some crack not the best move if the woman is a bit clingish my woman reakons shed see more of me if i was having a bit on the side reckons that id get board of her in a few weeks and wonder on home and shes right ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so i gues i am as green as the come about 14 months but hey i have it all ahead of me and cant wait never though id be preying for a windy wet winters night in september Quote Link to post
