paulus 26
good stuff for stopping bleeding like if you cut the quick whilst cutting nails of small ear cuts, but if your going to use it as a disinfectan/antiseptict be awear you will dye your dog orange to red depending upon how strong the solution you mix. better to go down your local country store and buy a bottle of hibiscrub, only about £8 a bottle. it is usefull to treat fungal infections but better alternatives are available, also remeber its lethal to any aquatic organisums so be carefull how you dispose of any left over solution. moon pig 39
sorry i wasnt very clear with my post, i have it in crystal form and not 100% sure on dosage rate for treating wounds iv move from hibiscrub to this paulus
paulus 26
it comes in crystal form mate, if say its a bust nail or you cut too short just dip it in the crystals same with small ear rips it will clott the bleeding, if useing as a scrub just a teaspoon in a pint of water but it does dye the furr and skin, stick with hibiscrub to clean wounds mate, keep the other stuff for fungal infections and for clotting small cuts, good for atheletes foot aswell
