mike1458 14
A friend of mine posted this up on facebook yesterday. I thought it would be a great help for beginners. Anyone ever gutted a rabbit this way? Looks challenging. Mike 1 Quote Link to post

lksopener 105
It's not as easy as it looks that! But great If you can do it. Liam Quote Link to post
BunnyBolter 16
looks clean and effective , may give it a go . my dad showed me a method where you cut along the belly and take the front and back legs and throw the rabbit forward across your body and it gets all the guts out without even touching them. Westy76 546
Seen this done a few times, handy for quick job on a good bag at the end of a night for filling your own freezer but my butcher wouldn't be impressed as he'd still had to split the belly and clean the chest cavity out so price would drop. Handy for your own use though. Quote Link to post
TOMO 26,252
good little film that,, them fecking pies at the end looked nice, lol,,, ide like to see a film of how he made those.. never done the gut squeezing thing,, but i have always skinned my rabbits, by splitting the back skin and pulling both ways, like he did, but i usualy do it compleatly stood up , pull it over the front legs first and i twist the head compleatly off, befor removing the back legs. this way i can do it with out putting the rabbt down on anything. another tip for his method ,, is secatours,, what you prune flowers with, or small bone shears,, i have both these can be very handy for removing the legs and head Quote Link to post
