One ferret called gizmo after the gremlins. 2 brothers called Ronnie and reggie because they're identical or the get called the Krays. Cockatiel called Bart because he's yellow and has a spiked head. 2 dogs call roxy and Lucy- because the missus likes them names haha Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Another in the litter was named Teal. We already had a spaniel called Kez, we were doing the bird theme at the time. My 2 pups are called Aero and Flash. Just like the names.... Ossie 11 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 my lurcher was called Gyp when i got him. the poodle thing was originally named "Tatty" by my cousin, because "she looks like a new potato" . i renamed her Small Dog, because, well, she is. got a ferret called Fatboy, his mum is Noodles cos i picked her up from a mate in the pub, sat with her on my lap trying to think of a name, and some youngsters were being noisy & i heard one of them say "noodles!" very loudly. the 2 young jills are just called "the girls". my cat is Roisin Dubh after the Thin Lizzy song, and her 2 kittens that i kept are Merlin (keeping up the mythical names theme) and his brother Tigatig. Tig/Tiger is the default name for all tabby toms that we don't intend to keep. ended up keeping him, then realised that Merlin the wizard didn't have a brother. so Tigatig stuck. My dorking cockerel was named Gregory Peck by my ex. he answers to Greggers. my mum doesn't like him cos he chases her, so she calls him Gregori Rasputin... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
