2 RABBITS WITH THE SAME SHOT

Anyone been lucky enough to kill 2 rabbits with the same shot?

I saw my brother in law do it with his Air Arms TX200 .177,the

nearest rabbit was 22yards away,the other rabbit was about 4 yards

behind it at 2 o'clock.

The pellet hit the 1st rabbit in the head,then must have came out at

an angle hitting the second rabbit in the neck.

 

I would have thought this would have been extremely rare but when I

mentioned it today a mate of a mate said he had also done it

 

So it got me thinking,how common a happening is it?

Never done that but ive shot two bunnies next to each other one with first shot he didnt even flip his mate didnt notice so i shot him as well

never done it with my air rifle i have with a shotgun !!!

new there was a second one till we went over

Never done it with a Air Rifle but Dropped a few pairs of Pigeons in my time while decoying with a 12G ...

Not quite the same but I was out last year with Dandyman - shot a rabbit at 20 yards with a .22. The rabbit dropped, I retreived it - no pellet hole.

 

Paunched it - skinned it and could not find a mark on it, not even a bruised area as if the pellet had bounced off.

 

Had a laugh about it and we reckon I missed and scared the thing to death

Not wrong there Jasp - it was stone cold dead and still managed to piss on my leg when I picked it up

Never with an air rifle but have done it with a rimfire, I clipped the top of the rabbits head and heard the bullet ping off a stone and a jackdow dropped stone out of a tree 70 yards away.

ye and i shot 67 magpies in the same shot with a catapult! only messin lol. that must have been a good experience lol sambo

lol,...I was there and can't believe! I still think sometimes was there someone else there that shot it , but I know there was'nt. I wonder what the odds were? Could I not of just won the lottery instead.

I shot three rabbits with a shotgun, killed two of them but the third managed to get to its burrow injured. My old man couldn't believe it and he's been hunting all his life, they were just sitting there "kissing" each other

had two ferals sat next to each other with the old . my mate shot 2 jays too . i have fired into a squirrels drey and had 2 squirrels out of it, one had to be given a second shot though. had 2 sparrows when they were legal quarry.
