just out of curiosity anyone know much about these as workers.googled it and said they "look like sheep with the heart of a lion"...anyone ever use them

they make excellent workers if you get the right breeder ,there are a lot of cowboys out there, I have worked them for many years, and below ground there at their best. Would not recommend for bushing. Good luck.

why?are they not nearly too big and light for ground work??

go on wbf, of find the big topic here about WB. i ve got 3 and they are superb. my dog is16 and can fit to really small holes.

what they say is, if water can get through a bedlington can, my dogs have never had any problems entering, and finding their quary. most are x bred with border or Lakie, you will be very lucky to find a pure working bedlington.

its nice to see more people having an interest in the bedlington but as old red says do your home work as theres lot s of shite out there with a dash of packmule blood in them judging by there size , the biggest bedlington i have is 141/2 in tts but i breed mine for earth work
