Is there some cut off point where you earn so much then start having to pay tax, NI etc, or do you have to pay tax on every little bit money you are given?

For example, you tidy someone's garden and they give you £20

Etc...

the tax man gives you a code ie 610L this would mean you can earn £6100 tax free for the year , it things like this that company directors like me use to avoid paying tax ie i earn £6000 pa £35,000 in dividends and around £10,000 in expenses this way i pay next to fck all in tax

yep thats the way to do it mate, i was paying alot and now i do it the right way........ ;) ;)

have you heard the word , homer ??? cash in hand

 

look at this way,,,u work pay tax,,,for those that dont work,,,,then u pay tax on fuel,,,food / clothes /inherance ,,,ect ect ect

 

if u work fulltime and pay yer tax,,,and odd job is a homer cash in hand ,,,seems fair to me

 

but if yer earning bucket loads ,,,not paying tax,,,its in yer best intrest to make it legal as they will catch you,,,,or somone will shop you,,,,,,and youll lose a good thing youve got going,,,cut off point is up to you
