skycat 6,174
Eye blue, blood in it: especially if its been like that for a few days, needs urgent vet treatment. You can't bugger about with home treatments if there is something stuck inside his eye ball. And even if the dog is blind for good, the eye ball will likely need removing or it could cause all sorts of problems if it deflates, gets infected: end game = dead dog or at the very least, dog in a lot of pain.
Millet 4,497
100% agree there Skycat..you can't mess about when it comes to there eye's..get it to the vet's ASAP and they might save the sight in the eye..the longer you leave it the less chance of it being repaired if it can be. Bosun11 537
Skycat's right, get your dog to the vet asap! I have a dog thats lost his eye, Blackthorn, the vet said it may be possible that it could be saved but it started to rupture and swell, changing shape and leaving him in fecking agony! So, it was right back to the vets and had it removed. Christ only knows what state he would have been in without treatment!! We can only imagine what discomfort or pain a dog is going through, spare him that and get to a vet.
