secretagentmole 1,701
Pumps have moisture strippers in that removes most moisture, However I still would not recommend pumping the gun up in a damp environment like a bathroom after a very hot shower or bath or on a misty day (mist is 100% relative humidity). A little moisture is actually good for a gun, it just does not need loads of moisture so normal air is fine (as long as there is not moisture running down the walls etc). Using a pump though can be very hard work for the slight of build, so unless your youngster is a sumo wrestler in training then I would not recommend it! Have a link that will help you understand about pump operation.., They may be American but they know their air weaponry! Give it a look! http://www.pyramydair.com/site/articles/hand-pump/ Quote Link to post
