hi all, is the vitamin paste for ferrets anygood? just wondering as ive just orderd some and just wanted to know if it works.

Never used it, probably get all the vitamins they need from dry ferret food, and the rest of the good stuff from raw meat.

i think i would only put it on my finger if i trusted the ferret in the first place, and its just like giveing a dog a treat and thats all it is a treat

I've used it with my kits. Found it helped with learning to be gentle and not grab food out my hand. Mine love it!

Mine used to like it, but they won't touch it now for some reason. But it is very sugary, as are most of the treats (Malt paste/Ferretone). The only one i can find that doesn't have sugar and other crap in it is ferrets formula.....mine go daft for it. But plently of ferts like the malt paste so hopefully yours will too.

i used it when i had a very sick ferret she was at deaths door,i had to disguise the crushed up antibiotics with something plus it was the only thing i could get her to eat she made a full recovery so for me it had it's uses atb AL
