2434me 13
Zabala 8 bore s/s in fair condition. On the rack for £950?? I thought that was way too much and should have been about £5/600. Any thoughts on what a fair price should be ?? Cheers Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Never seen a Zabala in 8 bore. Where abouts is it? Quote Link to post
HUnter_zero 58
I would guess that the gun has been re-bored to eight bore. Personally speaking, "odd" bores sizes do not attract a vast amount of interest these days, even the sweet twenty eight bore makes little more money than a twelve bore. Problem is that people don't have the wad to feed these beasts anymore and of course unless the eight bore has been "proofed" for steel there is little or no real market. Retail value IMHO would be around £200 to £400 depending on the buyer and of course critically condition. Auction value would be IMHO (to sell) less than £100. John Quote Link to post
magus69 0
I agree with Johns valuation also check the barrel length as an awful lot of these get ring bulged due to the very tight bore and choking as they are a bored out 10.If they're less than 32" they have had part or all of the choke cut off due to being bulged and that devalues them even more.
