beargrylls 1
out on Tuesday night with the lamp and the bsa again after a good plinking session in the garden put me in the mood for a shooting session in the field (easily done with) so i visited a bit of permission Ive had about 2month its only a small piece of land but its over run with rabbits, so i turned up about 8pm lamp in one hand bsa in the other, plenty of clouds overhead so plenty of cover, wind wasnt strong but is was aided by the rain in giving be a bit more of an advantage, anyway made my way to the first filed flicked the lamp on and there must have been at least 6 with in shooting distance and another god knows how many beyond this, the place was alive! i was there about 6hrs or so and ended the night with a respectful 8 all taken from 15 to around 32 yards..... Phantom 631
Nice little haul there Your right about perm sizes, mine are not very big, especially the Goose Paddock (its about 20 yards wide and all of 40 long max) and it was very productive until I wiped most of them out. Now the LO says she only sees them now and again and only a couple at the most when she does see them. She's happy, I got anothe perm out of it and possibly another out of that as well Some people won't agree with the damage I did to the population, but it was an erradication job and I know there will be plenty again next year Tony Quote Link to post
