Do many use nets when digging or is to get a bolt and let a running dog chase and catch better sport, i start using nets last season and i accounted for around 20 more because i find some times oule Charlie can slip out sometimes before you or dogs even notice him ,but with nets he can be lifted and let go in the field and then give the lurcher a run on him

we use them in certain spots so far i caught a terrier that the fox bolted in to the net lol and a fox got out from another one .Needless to say that terrier is no longer with us

well that would be the same with me in certain place's that has a lot of cover around them but in nice open places they are left to chance ,but in some places where you miss a hole 9 times out of 10 that's the hole you will get a bolt from.

they wouldn't be left over the hole they would be left wrapped up on the ground somewhere ,when they are over the hole it's easy to pick them up but when 2 people are are lifting them and their not put back in the bag is when they get left behind
