well it was an awfull morning yesturday pissing it down and wind, but after dinner time it cleared up a bit so thought give it a go for a couple of hours in a small wooded area. Came across the first warren good sign of rabbets home run's going in to the holes, neted up 6-7 as i was netting up a rabbit bolted,gutted "there for another day ".. i entered the ferret inn and didnt take long she pushed the first rabbit out, " one rabbit in the bag " the ferret neva showed so got a net back over the hole quick an stood back..few min later bang second rabbit in the net with ferret [bANNED TEXT] up its arse, the ferret goes back through the warren searching but nothing els at home. we move on through the wood and the warren are closed up with leaves, then we come to a good warren with about 13-15 holes so the nets are all down and inn the ferret goes i stand back and wait patiently not for to long out come the rabbit and the ferret is on top of it be for i get to it. . i dispatch the rabbit put net back over the hole, and enter the ferret in another hole she goes through the warren searching but nothing els at home. continued looking through the wood and there wasnt much more sign of rabbits about..

 

At least the ferret is kept on her toes and she be ready when the hard frost comes and them long days out in the field. CWN-HELA
