same here gaffer but i use the drink form carry a sports bottle with me when out working them find it helps them recover quicker after a really gruelingrun.

i cary with me a freezer bag of wet dog buiscits and put 2 big tea spoon full on it after a good hard run give the dog a few of the buiscits its cracking stuff foure recovering the dog

Raw, and Keepers mix, and it works without a doubt.

Codliver in the winter months, or a bit oil or lard mixed in.

Coconut oil seems to be good for the Terriers(thanks p***y.)

Seems to (I think anyway) keep a layer of fat around the dog, im probaly wrong, But Its worth a try.

Good mixed diet with a little extra oil. Most completes already have added vits etc. when working, a little energy boost with sips of glucose or some form of carb as required and on return to the car or home if not to far away a light meal, carbs protein and fat. Ensure plenty of access to water. If mine have had a hard night I'll mix an egg with water, add a little codliver oil and a couple of biscuits and give them that. Don't want to be adding extra vitamins etcetera if you can help it.

b vitimans supplement are good for dogs,ect ect any vet will tell u that

 

 

keep it simple,,,,fish in sunflower oil packed with vit e and oily fish,,,,,fish and tomato,,,again oily fish ,tomatoe helps dog not crapping up

 

iron ---liver ect ect mixed with any complete dog food ect ect

 

the wife,s out off date steak mince she,s throwing out is always a plus to give to yer dogs ect ect

 

( also plls ALL GO ON ABOUT FOOD,,,keep yer dogs teeth in good nick,,,throw them a bone or chew once a week,,,seen it too much,,,dogs a 3/4year old worst teeth than a 7/8 yearold +,,,often over looked
