Whats a rabbit worth to a butcher??

Hi just wonderd if a butcher bought my rabbits I ferret what the average price there pay??

 

Any ideas?

depends where you are really i can get 1.75 from one butcher for a clean oven ready rabbit and 1.95 for a whole rabbit at another but a mate who lives 70 odd miles from me gets 4.00 a rabbit

I get £1 Gutted £1.50 Skinned but mainly just swap for there scraps for the Dogs and ferrets.

Have been told today rabbits are going for £2.95 to a lad in cheltenham gloucestershire, he told me there all going for dog food but they wont have shot ones! my butcher pays £2.00 skinned he told me most of them he sells at £3.95 go for people to cook for cats

my local butcher sells oven ready wild rabbit for £7.95 , i haven't been and caught any yet but i will be seeing if he wants any

i get 1.20 for my ferreted rabbits just gutted and any dogged ones go to the game dealer for 75p or a £1 depends what hes paying at the time
