Near all the compost and fence posts etc. As for ferrets chewing wire being due to them being wild polecat x's? Doubt that's true. born ferreter 1 Posted October 11, 2011 Report Share Posted October 11, 2011 my jill will chew through anything just a matter of time. made my first cage i built in my shed out of chicken wire within a matter of days she was through it an everytime i patched it up she chew another one its a good thing it was in my shed because the amount of night id walk in and find them snuggled up in the bag of shavings was unreal, small 1cm x 1cm mesh from wilkos as cheep as it seems works a treet and its strong stuff aswel lewis Quote Link to post
