why do you have to have it half open

on the top or front mate?

i'm just learning to be honest, building this similar to saxonmasters as i have to keep it looking natural so it doesn't stick out too much cos of where i live!

part open at top for weathering't bird and at front so it has a view rather than a wall to look at!

ya i was on about the top just what if we have some bad rain and snow ???

i would expect the bird to take shelter at the back mate, if it gets extreme the bird will have to go in my garage wher i'm gonna build a small mews for it, either that or kick't wife outta bed and let it in ha ha ha
