tegater 789
168 pellets of no 12 sized shot. Ok for small rodent at up to 10 m. As a kid I used to shoot sparrows with them in the barns, but again at close distance. I believe butterfly collectors used to use them, for when they were out of reach of the nets. Wasps are also good fun, as they leave or come back to the nest! Quote Link to post
Silvertip 1
I have tried these in my 10/22, they dont cycle well/ at all, the box says not for semi auto's too i think (with out looking im not 100%). Quote Link to post

andyf 144
Hello! Those .22 shotshells are no good at all for ferals, you'd need to be point blank and some. The effective range (for mice etc) is about 10 feet, and even then you'll get runners if you don't centre pattern him. If you must get a box, and try a shot at a cardboard box from 12 feet you'll see what I mean. The CCI type have the blue plastic see through 'bullet' and you can see the shot through it. We always found the all Brass Eley's with the crimped end (like a blank) were better, and the shot is bigger. Only use them in a bolt gun and take your silencer off first, cos if its got plastic baffles you'll shoot them through, and if it's Parker Hale or SAK it'l just eat most of the shot and fire out nothing. Good luck!! Quote Link to post

David Dey 2
Hi. I used them a few years ago inside a barn on pigeons that were messing up a stock of barley, two of us had 74 in 3 hours, the range was about 15 to 20 feet. DD Quote Link to post
