tia.kins 56
Rew off here has seen the light and decided to become a southerner..... so I took him for a local spin. Not the best of nights as both the farms had just been rolled and drilled, but the first farm, small as it was gave the dogs some quick runs and in no time at all we had notched up 5 rabbits with the dogs taking it in turns and not missing much that was up for the taking. Next farm was dissapointing and a lesson for me to learn off. The farmer had finished drilling that day, and the fields were empty, except for the few grass fields he keeps, we picked up another bunny, then headed home leaving the other half of the farm for another night. Rew has a nice bitch in Fly. Keen and plenty quick, she runs with experience. I used to keep lurchers plus 25 inches...... But have clearly forgotten their size as she seemed I giant .....but as I do know, the bigger Lurcher can still get on well and they are real great to watch. Cheers for coming out Rew. Sorry it's taken so long for me to get this post up, will look out again soon when the night is right Quote Link to post
