I have a jack russell buts his getting on now so i dont work him much and i was thinking about getting somthing different and i like the idea of a beagle or a harrier is there much different between them. terrier410 53 Posted October 15, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 15, 2011 sorry lads ive only worked/owned my hounds for 4 years so still learning myself and don't feel qualified to be giving advice out,you need to get yourselves to a local footpack and watch them work and get involved if you are invited too but i use mine on rabbits with no problems and they will mark a burrow for ferreting,the urge to hunt in them is strong and they will pick anything up when out so a bit of discipline is needed too.
