Howard is a good raconteur, also met one of his fellow commodity brokers Phil Sparrowhawk, met one or two infamous people over the years, they are normally more down to earth than those in the fame spotlight.

hardly a mate but i used to deal in sports memorrabilia before the arse fell out of it ... did a signing with frank bruno -- afterwards he fancied a curry so we took him to a local curry house and in my local for a coke -- should of seen some of the faces in the pub .. he was doin autographs for the lads i would have been selling them to .. :D i ran the great north run with him and went to watch him training ...

Ive known Frank since we were young he,s still exactly the same person, never got too big for his boots...wouldnt say we,re close friends but speak every now and then.....im reasonably friendly with quite a few of the London boxing chaps past and present....my bestest pal in the world from back since childhood is not famous but a well known fella round these parts but for all the wrong reasons unfortunately....Probably the most famous person i could say im friends with is pretty much unknown in England but a big name in America a man called Ray Mancini he won a world title as a boxer i met him in the mid 80,s we,ve had a lot in common with boxing being a small but very interesting part of our friendship......oh and my son is good pals with the footballer Joe Cole.
