maty j 6
looking for some claw clippers as my bitch's claws look a touch long. which are the best to go for guilotine or scissor type? any recomended makes. just thinking it will be easyer (for me and her), to cut them with quality than shite clippers. tia maty. MATTI 34
A bit of road-work would keep her nail's down, and be good for you both. :thumbs-up:

monksie 0
We got a Mikki pair from the vets, they are spot on. Cost about a tenner and are strong. Think you can get them from most pet shops or off the internet.

juckler123 707
Maty j theres a set of clippers available at most pet stores they are like a pair of scissors and they cut all round the nail evenly the guard stops you taking too much off as the guard stops em going to far up the nail
tote 856
Instead of cutting them you could file them down with a metal file,or some rough sandpaper.Another way of keeping nails short is to use a dremel tool, once the dog gets used to it you'll find it a good way of keeping their nails down. Well i use the guillotine type on my bitches nails, she is a nightmare to do at the best of times so the quicker i can do it the better, waking her on the footpaths helps keep them down so they dont need doing more than a couple of times a year thak god
maty j 6
seem a good idea juckler if the stop you hitting the quick. found some that say they have the guard but dont look any different. you got a link at all for them? dont think she would stick around enough for me to file or dremel them.
