Bull Terrier Crosses

Recommended Posts

Have the bull crosses that are about today got a bit american in them? why I ask is because going back 12 years ago I bought my 1st lurcher she was a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 apbt, she turned out to be a really nice dog and I had many a happy days hunting with her. I'm considering getting another in the future when my current dog gets another 2-3 year on her, she was a brindle colour and 24inch and a nice bit muscle on her but not too muscle bound, are these type still about?

i think the majority of them are english staffs from chavvy council houses that have never seen ote that bites back other than the neighboughs dog.....

theres some genuine bull crosses around but theres too much shit going around, i know plenty of terriermen and none of them have ever worked a pure bull terrier, for the amount of bull crosses that are around there must be some shit bull blood going about like all crosses but i reckon the bull cross is the worse, pick the breeding right and you'v got a handy dog

just my oppinion atb

Thanks lads for the genuine replies, the odd bull x I see round my way (Gateshead) are all different shapes & sizes, thats why I was wondering what was in them, the type I had back then had a certain type of look about them, all seemed to be a shade of brindle with a strong head and nice muscular neck, bitches were 22-24 & dogs 24-26 tts. I'll try and dig a photo out later and post it up!

Cheers
