Guest vin
boys can you remember the lr9 or the lr14 spotlights the best around at one time mostly of cortina 1600e car now yer talkin Paul..had one with a load of tape on the lens to minimize spread and also a plantpot taped on end ..as good as a striker any night..I did have an even older spot off an old vintage car that had a litte slightly aspherical lens with like a nipple and and a blacked out dot....that was awsum...a mate borrowed it and I never saw it again.. And what a car also..my dad had a green 1600E auto...it was the dog bollox...LOL. atb Vin by the way..I use a striker these days with a 30w bulb... perfect for rabbits. donkdaniel 236
I like the striker 170 due to it's size I use the blits 240 at the mo but I find in high winds it's like trying to hold a woke in hurrican Cathryn! Good lamp but the wind catches it as it's so big hope this helps Thanks bud Is there much difference in the range of the two of them? i find the blits alot better in big fields or if your like me your eyes arnt the best but with the striker its alot easier when your using your hands to open gates deal with rabbits ex but i will be getting a striker next i think 1 Quote Link to post
patterdale666 1,620
Thanks for all the replys lads Quote Link to post
j1985 1,984
Got a striker variable and it's great, plus with lightforce you can buy the blitz, striker and lance heads separate so you can have one lamp with all 3 heads if you wanted! But get the variable.. Quote Link to post
jeppi 49
striker all the way mate blitz too big imo but the blitz dose make your quarry run hell of alot diffrent to any other lamp   Quote Link to post
popps 120
stiker 170 good beam light weight and nice size Quote Link to post
ianh 83
might be a silly question but will my clulite battery work with a lightforxe or blitz lamp head? would i just have to swap to a different connector? be a lot cheaper than buying a full set up. Quote Link to post
rapidjenky 97
your cluelite battery pack will be fine with a lightforce lamp. as you said its just a matter to either changing the adapter on the battery, or lamp. or even cutting them both off and wiring direct to the battery. any battery pack will power any lamp, as long as there 12v battery for a 12v lamp. ive seen some 6v lamps but there few and far between. ianh 83
cheers i thought it would but just checking before i buy one and cut wires and am left without a lamp at all. lamp first new battery later. Quote Link to post
Lukehunt 15
lightforce striker 170 does the job mate Quote Link to post
SLiP tHe DoG ! 129
i use the striker blitz is a million times better for beam length but ffs what a faff on it is when its windy and jumping fences etc honestly though try the deben tracer lamps ! much much better lamps same beam but lighter and ALOT better wiring the amount of times my striker or blitz has been rewired is just daft Quote Link to post
